Course Catalog  >  Welcome to Cornell University (For New Staff and Faculty) Welcome to Cornell University – New Employee Orientation provides an introduction to the structure and culture of Cornell University. The session provides a wealth of information on the many opportunities available to Cornell employees. Networking is key to the success of all Cornell employees and it begins at orientation with the opportunity to network and meet others who are new to the university. At Orientation, employees will be given an introduction to the university by one of the universities executive leaders. Participants will have the opportunity to participate at the Welcome to Cornell Resource Fair where various Cornell University and local agencies are available to provide information on programs and offerings available to Cornell employees. Participants will also be provided with a welcome gift, and optional campus bus tour.
