| Details | People often use the term "managing change" when actually what they are describing is the psychological reorientation process that happens inside of us (both individually and collectively) as we adapt to external changes. This reorientation process more accurately reflects one’s individual "transition." Although transition often results from a change, it may also begin before a change actually takes place.
The purpose of the program is to help you manage the transitions that are created by the changes we are currently facing at the University and Library. As a result of attending this session, you will have a framework for understanding the transition process; you will be able to identify where you are right now in your own adjustment to a particular significant change, and you will leave with a personalized list of specific actions you can take to make the human side of change more manageable. |
